NOPPA has been constructed to guide and give information to public transport passenger and pedestrian. NOPPA has designed this system chiefly for the requirement of the visually impaired, but it is also very beneficial for a sighted user. This system comprises a speech user interface, door-to-door guidance making use of public transport, the most general GPS functions and many information services. The architecture of the system depends upon employing an Information Server, which is connected to user's mobile phone via mobile Internt.Only when the user request for information or there exist real time information to send, data transfer and costs are however brought about.
