Dell has an Inspiron range of computers which is meant for the consumer market and has the Latitude range of laptops which is meant for the commercial market.

Inspiron E1505/6400
6000 was replaced by E1505 for U.S. and 6400 for Canada and U.S. Small Business. Although most of the standard features are identical but there are some variations between the two such as Windows Media Center edition on the E1505 whereas the 6400 is equipped with XP Home.
Inspiron E1405/640 m
It is a 14 inch notebook which is configurable with components which are similar to E1505 and is a little bit smaller in total size. It has an excellent battery life with exceeds five hours with a six cell battery and eight hours with a slightly expensive nine cell battery. This is an attractive laptop because of its price.
Inspiron E1705/9400
This machine is available with an Intel Core Dup or Solo processor and has a seventeen inch XGA wide screen LCD. It also has a *nVidia GeForce Go7900 GS, ATI Radeon x1400 with 256mb of RAM or an Intel GMA 950. It also makes use of 533MHz or 667 MHz of DDR2 memory.
