Stamp

It is a distinctive mark or impression made upon an object for example those made on a piece of paper and used to indicate the prepayment of a fee or tax.

The types of stamps include:

POSTAGE STAMP
It is an evidence of pre paying a fee for postal services. A small paper rectangle which is attached to the envelope signifies that the person sending the letter or package has paid for delivery and it is the most popular alternative to using a pre paid postage envelope. Stamps are also issued in other shapes.

RUBBER STAMP
Also called tax stamp or fiscal stamp, it is a type of adhesive label which is used to collect taxes or fees on various items. Countries worldwide use them for documents, drugs, liquor, playing cards and other kinds of things. Although revenue stamps resemble postage stamps, they are not found on mail and they don't even receive a cancellation.
